have been playing the clarinet in Sedbergh Orchestra for about six years now and have enjoyed the Thursday evening rehearsals and concerts, which certainly helped me feel part of the Sedbergh community when I was new to the town. When I first attended, my clarinet had not been out of its case for 10 years and I surprised myself with how quickly the music fell under my fingers again. I have sat out the last two concerts due to the arrival of my baby son in February but have returned this term, hoping my diaphragm is still up to the job! I return also as the new Treasurer of the Pepperpot Club and look forward to helping the charity and orchestra it supports to continue to thrive.
